Yes, morbidly obese.  The above picture is me on July 4, 2012.  Weight: 299 and not proud of it.  If I meet my goal of losing 100 lbs in one year, I will be in ONEderland for my daughter's wedding!

I read a blog about another lady who weighed 253 and made the same goal and ACHIEVED it. So there you have it. One day at a time, One week at a time, One pound at a time. It didn't come on overnight and I need to stop thinking it will come off overnight.

I had to have my blood drawn for my insurance this week. I got the call from my dr today. I have to go back and have a HA1C drawn. I know what that means. Diabetes. I knew if I didn't change my ways this day would come but I kept fooling myself into thinking I could out wit it. Well I don't think I did. Tomorrow I go for the HA1C... and go see the dr next Tuesday. I don't WANT to HEAR the news. I'm so sad and angry with myself right now. Maybe, just maybe I don't have it but if not, I'm certainly on that path! So this is yet another reason for my 100 pound 1year journey.

 

Some things I need to accomplish:
* Drink more water
* Get off the couch
* quit sneak eating
* quit eating out
* get moving

one day at a time....

 

Yes..... still nothing. BUT......

• I have  new grandson!!!  Louden Schumacher is here!  I love him so much already!!!  I want to be that cool nana that DOES stuff with her grandson!  Not the fat one he will be embarrassed of!
• Jaci gets more beautiful every day!  She sometimes asks why I am fat.  She shoudn't have to do that!  I want her to point t me and say "THAT is my NANA!" with pride!
• Caroline is a FHSU cheerleader again!  I want to be a Cheer mom like those dance moms on TV!  Beautiful, thin, and having fun!!!
• Mindy is inspiring me to lose weight!  She has LOST over 30 pounds and is looking MIGHTY FINE!!!!  True inspiration!!!
• and.. drum roll...... Vanessa and Derek are getting married!!!!  I have exactly ONE YEAR to get into some sort of shape other than ROUND!!!  I know she wants me to look nice...and I want to do that for her!!!  SO excited and happy for her!!!!!!!

Now with that all said, I have many times in the past said... I'm going to do this!  Well I'm hoping thistime it sticks!!!  One day at a time!!!   I just have to wake up each day and think.... today I am going to stay positive, stay OP, and drink plenty of water.  

Tomorrow I am going to:

• get up early and try walking around the track
• drink plenty of water
• not eat anything bad for me
• watch my portions
• STAY happy and positive
• LIVE life to the fullest

Everyone else is losing weight...why can't I too???  God be with me!!!!
