Pictures can be deceiving....

While at school, the junior high kids were like "Ms. B!  We want a picture with you!" This was at their junior high dance.  So I posed with them for a picture.   I have had more compliments on this picture.  People tell me they had to look twice to find me amongst the junior high students, that I look so young and have I lost weight?!  Well, I was excited because it really is a decent picture... Here it is....

That's me... the second from the left (front and center).  Needless to say I was feeling pretty good about myself.   But as they say... pictures can be deceiving.   When I went home and looked in a mirror, this is what I saw....

Yep, me on the left.  True picture of how large I am.  BUT....knowing I CAN look like the deceiving picture above is making me want it more.   Why can't I "fit in" with a group of junior high students?  I don't have to be the fattest teacher at school!  Right!?!  Yep!

Today my friend, Pat is coming to town.  She wants to eat at the Q.  I will forego the infamous Q burger for the salad.  Not a great choice there, but better then the Q burger.  :)   I am super excited to see Pat.  It's been a while and she has really been such a great friend to me.  She saw me through the cheating and the divorce.   She never judges.   Love her to death!

Going to quick tidy up the house, have my morning oatmeal, take a shower, and get ready for some fun.  Here is to another day on this beautiful earth!  I will show my appreciation...  oh, and Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!
